I'm going to get right to the point here: if you are an internet marketer and you are selling products or services, and you are not using Twitter, you are walking away from piles of money and a big hungry audience. I joined Twitter about a month ago and I already have 849 followers, with more adding me every day.I have gotten half a dozen ghostwriting gigs, several of them regular and ongoing; I'm at the point where I would have to consider outsourcing if anyone else asks me to work for them.
Now why should you take any advice from me, when I am not a big name guru and I'm fairly new to the world of internet marketing? That is EXACTLY why you should listen to me. Because I started this out with no name, no following, and no experience with Twitter, and I have already had phenomenal results with minimal effort.
I have found a whole new crowd of people to market to, many of them offline business owners. And trust me, offline customers pay a lot more than internet marketers.

One quick tip: Twitter works like magic if you know how to use it effectively, if you don't spam, and if you have your own products or services. I wouldn't recommend it to drive traffic to an adsense site, but if you are selling your own stuff, and it is of good quality, you will LOVE Twitter.
